Betsey Stevenson: podcast appearances and interviews

Betsey Ayer Stevenson is an economist and a professor of economics and public policy at the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. She has held several significant roles in government, including serving as a member of the Council of Economic Advisers from 2013 to 2015 during the Obama administration. Prior to that, she was Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of Labor under Secretary Hilda Solis from 2010 to 2011. Stevenson has also been involved in academic research as a fellow of the Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich and as a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. She has served on the board of the American Economic Association and has teaching experience as an assistant professor of Business and Public Policy at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In 2020, she was named a volunteer member of the Joe Biden presidential transition Agency Review Team to support efforts related to the U.S. Department of Treasury.
