Doug Howard: podcast appearances and interviews

Doug Howard, born on May 2, 1956, is an American bassist, vocalist, and songwriter. He is recognized for his work as a performing and recording musician, collaborating with various groups and artists including Touch, Stun Leer, Todd Rundgren, Utopia, and The Edgar Winter Group. In addition to his musical performances, Howard has served as an occasional co-writer. He also played the role of the singing narrator known as 'Songster' in the 1987 live production of the Masters of the Universe Power Tour, which was based on the Mattel He-Man series. Beyond his performance career, Howard is the managing partner of Lodestar Entertainment, LLC, a company based in New York that specializes in music and video licensing and publishing. He is also noted as the paternal grandson of American songwriter Joseph E. Howard.
