Derek Dallas Carr, born on March 28, 1991, is an American former professional football quarterback and currently serves as a managing director at Addfield. He played 11 seasons in the National Football League, primarily with the Oakland Raiders, who selected him in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft after his college career at Fresno State. During his NFL tenure, Carr was a four-time Pro Bowler and led the Raiders to the playoffs in 2016 and 2021, marking the franchise's first postseason appearances since 2002. He became the franchise leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and pass completions before ending his career with the Raiders. Following the 2022 season, which did not meet expectations, Carr lost his starting quarterback role and was subsequently released.
