Deborah Levy: podcast appearances and interviews

Deborah Levy, born on August 6, 1959, is a novelist, playwright, and poet from South Africa. She originally focused on writing for the theatre, with her plays being staged by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Later, she shifted her attention to prose fiction. Levy's early novels include Beautiful Mutants, Swallowing Geography, and Billy & Girl. Her more recent work features the Booker-shortlisted novels Swimming Home and Hot Milk, as well as the Booker-longlisted The Man Who Saw Everything. She has also authored a short-story collection titled Black Vodka. In addition to her literary career, Levy serves as the Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association Orange County Chapter.
