David Horowitz: podcast appearances and interviews

David Joel Horowitz (January 10, 1939 – April 29, 2025) was an American conservative writer and activist. He was a founder and president of the David Horowitz Freedom Center and served as editor of the Center's website FrontPage Magazine. Horowitz was also the director of Discover the Networks, a website that tracks individuals and groups on the political left, and founded Students for Academic Freedom. Throughout his career, he authored several books in collaboration with Peter Collier, focusing on prominent American families and cultural criticism. Earlier in his life, Horowitz was an outspoken adherent of the New Left from 1956 to 1975. He later shifted his political beliefs, becoming a defender of neoconservatism. He documented this ideological transformation in a series of retrospective books, including his 1996 memoir Radical Son: A Generational Odyssey. Horowitz also worked as a columnist for Salon. His work spanned activism, writing, and website editing, reflecting his evolving engagement with American political and cultural issues.
