David Finlay: podcast appearances and interviews

David Stephen Finlay, born on May 16, 1993, is a professional wrestler who has competed internationally and is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling. He is known for leading the stable The Dogs and for being a former AEW World Trios Champion with fellow stablemates Clark Connors and Gabe Kidd. Finlay was born in Germany to Northern Irish parents and is a fourth-generation wrestler. His father, Fit Finlay, trained him, and he received additional training from Satoshi Kojima and the New Japan Pro-Wrestling Dojo. Throughout his career, Finlay partnered with Juice Robinson as the team FinJuice, with whom he held the IWGP Tag Team Championship. He also held the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship alongside Ricochet and Satoshi Kojima. Finlay joined NJPW in 2023, where he led Bullet Club, recognized as the fifth and final leader of the group, primarily leading the War Dogs sub-group. During his time with NJPW, he held the NEVER Openweight Championship once, was the inaugural IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion, a two-time champion of that title, and the winner of the 2025 New Japan Cup. In 2026, Finlay left NJPW to sign with AEW, marking a new chapter in his professional wrestling career.
