David Ellefson: podcast appearances and interviews

David Warren Ellefson is an American musician recognized primarily for his role as the bassist and backing vocalist for the heavy metal band Megadeth. He has had two tenures with the band, first from 1983 until their breakup in 2002, and again from 2010 to 2021. Before joining Megadeth, Ellefson developed his skills as a bassist and songwriter by leading several bands in the North American Midwest club scene. After relocating to Los Angeles, he became part of Megadeth, contributing to their success over multiple years. In 2021, he co-founded the hard rock band the Lucid with vocalist Vinnie Dombroski, guitarist Drew Fortier, and drummer Mike Heller. Besides his work with Megadeth and the Lucid, Ellefson has been involved in various side projects including Temple of Brutality, F5, Killing Machine, and Metal Allegiance. He is also the current bassist of Metal Church, showcasing his ongoing influence in the heavy metal genre.
