David Booth: podcast appearances and interviews

David Booth is an American professional ice hockey player who has played as a forward for various teams, including the Fife Flyers of the Elite Ice Hockey League. He was born on November 24, 1984, and began his college hockey career with the Michigan State Spartans. Following his second year with the team, he was selected 53rd overall in the 2004 NHL entry draft by the Florida Panthers. Booth spent four years playing college hockey before entering the professional ranks in the 2006 to 2007 season. During his time with the Panthers organization, he achieved career highs in goals, assists, and points and was voted the Panthers' most valuable player by fans for the 2008-09 season. His career faced challenges due to two concussions sustained in the season following that achievement. Midway through his sixth season in the NHL, Booth was involved in a trade that sent him to the Vancouver Canucks in a four-player deal. Known for his offensive skill and speed, he has reached the 30-goal mark in an NHL season. Internationally, Booth has represented the United States and secured gold medals at the 2002 IIHF World U18 Championship and the 2004 IIHF World U20 Championship. He also competed in the 2008 IIHF World Championship. Currently, Booth is serving as an assistant professor at University affiliated with CNH Financial.
