Dave Rubin: podcast appearances and interviews

David Joshua Rubin, born on June 26, 1976, is an American conservative political commentator, talk show host, YouTuber, and author. He is known for hosting The Rubin Report, a talk show available on YouTube and the BlazeTV network. The program was launched in 2013 as part of the TYT Network, but Rubin left in 2015 due to ideological differences. Prior to this, Rubin co-hosted LGBTQ-themed talk shows including The Ben and Dave Show from 2007 to 2008 and The Six Pack from 2009 to 2012, both with Ben Harvey. Rubin initially aligned with progressive politics during his time at The Young Turks. His views began to shift after observing public debates involving figures such as Cenk Uygur, Ben Affleck, Bill Maher, and Sam Harris, as well as responses to the Charlie Hebdo shooting. He subsequently described himself as a classical liberal and later identified as a conservative and libertarian in the 2020s. Rubin has been a frequent critic of progressivism and the Democratic Party, and his work often explores ideological differences and political commentary.
