Dave Ellis: podcast appearances and interviews

Dave Ellis is a principal engineer and director at Braidwood Garlic Growers Co-operative. With a background that includes a notable career as an American saxophonist, Ellis gained prominence in the 1990s as a member of guitarist Charlie Hunter's band. He has been recognized for his work with artists such as Bob Weir following the breakup of the Grateful Dead and with flugelhornist Dmitri Matheny. In addition to his musical endeavors, Ellis has recorded albums as a bandleader; his album State of Mind, produced by Orrin Keepnews, received an award for Outstanding Album from the California Music Awards in 2004. Ellis has also collaborated with his sister Zoe Ellis in a musical act called ZADELL.
