Darren Everett Criss, born on February 5, 1987, is an American actor, singer, and songwriter known for his work across television, theater, and music. He gained widespread recognition for his role on the television series Glee from 2010 to 2015. His performance as spree killer Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story in 2018 earned him a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award, highlighting his acclaimed acting abilities. Criss has appeared on Broadway, serving as a replacement in both How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
