Dan Patrick: podcast appearances and interviews

Dan G. Patrick, born Dannie Scott Goeb on April 4, 1950, is an American radio talk show host, television broadcaster, and politician serving as the 42nd lieutenant governor of Texas since 2015. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he began his career in radio and television broadcasting. After establishing a chain of sports bars that eventually went bankrupt, he returned to radio as a conservative commentator. Patrick was a member of the Texas Senate from 2007 to 2015, representing the 7th District, which included parts of Houston and its suburbs in northwest Harris County. In the 2014 Republican primary runoff, he defeated three-term incumbent David Dewhurst to become the lieutenant governor. He then secured the position in the fall general election and has been re-elected in 2018 and 2022, defeating Democratic nominee Mike Collier both times. Patrick is scheduled to face Vikki Goodwin in the 2026 election.
