Dan Koch: podcast appearances and interviews

Dan Koch is associated with the Wisconsin Badgers Women’s Ice Hockey as an associate head coach. While primarily known as a musician and podcaster, he has also built a diverse career in music and media. Koch hosts the podcasts You Have Permission and Pretty Good Vibrations, and has previously co-hosted the Depolarize! and Reconstruct podcasts. His musical background includes being the lead guitarist, vocalist, and principal songwriter for the rock band Pacific Gold. He also formed the band Sherwood with Nate Henry in 2002 while attending Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California, initially serving as the band's drummer before switching to guitar roles as the band evolved. Koch's career in music extends to composing music for commercials and advertising since 2012. A native of Los Gatos, California, he resides in Seattle, Washington, with his wife Jaffrey Bagge, whom he married in 2009.
