Cynthia Miller-Idriss: podcast appearances and interviews

Cynthia Miller-Idriss is an American sociologist and a professor in the Schools of Public Affairs and Education at American University. She is the founding director of the Polarization & Extremism Research & Innovation Lab (PERIL). Miller-Idriss holds an AB in Sociology and German Area Studies from Cornell University. She also earned a Master of Public Policy, a Master of Arts, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of Michigan. Her work focuses on extremism, and she is an author in her field. Through her research and academic roles, she investigates issues related to polarization and extremism and contributes to understanding these phenomena within society.
