Cynthia Miller-Idriss: podcast appearances and interviews

Cynthia Miller-Idriss is an American sociologist and a professor at American University, where she works within the Schools of Public Affairs and Education. She is also the founding director of the Polarization & Extremism Research & Innovation Lab. Miller-Idriss holds an AB in Sociology and German Area Studies from Cornell University. She further obtained a Master of Public Policy, as well as both a Master and a Doctorate in Sociology from the University of Michigan. Her work includes the authorship of the book Man Up: The New Misogyny and the Rise of Violent Extremism, which examines issues of gender, extremism, and societal polarization. Her research interests encompass extremism and polarization, and she has contributed to understanding these phenomena through her academic roles and publications.
