Cyndi Ann Munson, born on May 24, 1985, is an American politician affiliated with the Democratic Party. She has served as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives representing the 85th district since 2015. Munson won a special election in 2015 to replace David Dank, securing over 54 percent of the vote. Her election marked a historic milestone, as she became the first Asian American woman to serve in the Oklahoma State Legislature. The 85th district includes parts of Oklahoma City and had previously been held by Republicans. Since 2022, Munson has served as the minority leader of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. In addition to her legislative duties, she is the Democratic nominee for governor of Oklahoma in the 2026 election.
