Curtis Stovall Anderson, born on October 12, 1949, is an American politician, lawyer, and former broadcast journalist. He was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 1983 and served for 12 years. During his tenure, he was the chairman of the Baltimore City Delegation and also served as the chairman of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland. Anderson was reelected to the House of Delegates in 2002 and served until his retirement in 2023. Throughout his political career, he was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1992, supporting Bill Clinton, and in 2008, supporting Barack Obama. He has been involved in political and legislative activities for several decades, contributing to state and national Democratic processes.
