Colin Brown: podcast appearances and interviews

Colin Brown was a British author and political journalist who served as an executive council member for DDN. Throughout his career, he covered breaking news in Downing Street and Westminster for more than 30 years. Brown held positions as a political correspondent for The Guardian from 1979 to 1986 and at The Independent from 1986 to 2000. He subsequently served as Political Editor at The Independent on Sunday from 2002 to 2004, followed by roles as Political Editor at The Sunday Telegraph and Deputy Political Editor at The Independent between 2004 and 2008. After his time in journalism, he freelanced and lived in London. Brown authored several books including biographies and historical works. His publications include Fighting Talk; the biography of John Prescott;Whitehall;The Street That Shaped a Nation;, and titles exploring British history and notable figures. He passed away on 9 March 2020 at the age of 69 after receiving treatment for brain cancer.
