Claudia Sahm: podcast appearances and interviews

Claudia Rae Sahm is an American economist who currently serves as the Chief Economist for New Century Advisors. She is also the founder of Sahm Consulting. Sahm has a background in macroeconomics and household finance, with prior experience including the role of director of macroeconomic policy at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. She worked at the Federal Reserve System from 2007 to 2019, where she held various positions including Section Chief at the Board of Governors. Sahm is known for developing the Sahm rule, an indicator used by the Federal Reserve to identify recessions in real time.
