Chloe Kim is an American professional snowboarder and a two-time Olympic gold medalist. Born on April 23, 2000, she made history at the 2018 Winter Olympics by becoming the youngest woman to win a gold medal in snowboarding, achieving this feat in the women's snowboard halfpipe at the age of 17. Kim continued her success at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, where she became the first woman to win two gold medals in the halfpipe event. She has also attained eight gold medals at the X Games and holds the distinction of being the first woman to earn two gold medals in snowboarding at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. Her accomplishments include titles as a World, Olympic, Youth Olympic, and X Games champion in the halfpipe, making her the first snowboarder to win at all four major events.
