Richard Anthony Cheech Marin, born on July 13, 1946, is an American comedian and actor. He became widely known as part of the comedy duo Cheech & Chong during the 1970s and early 1980s, performing alongside Tommy Chong. Marin also played the role of Insp. Joe Dominguez, partnering with Don Johnson on the television series Nash Bridges. In addition to his live-action work, he has lent his voice to numerous Disney films, including Oliver & Company, The Lion King, The Lion King 1½, the Cars franchise, Coco, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
