Carolyn Walker, born around 1946, is an American former politician known for her service in Arizona's state legislature. She served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 1983 to 1986. Following her tenure in the House, she became the first African-American woman to serve in the Arizona Senate, holding that position from 1987 to 1991. During her time in the Senate, she also served as the Senate Majority Whip. Walker's political career was significantly impacted by her involvement in the AzScam sting operation in 1991, which led to her indictment and subsequent expulsion from the Senate. In her professional career, she is associated with Response Marketing and is recognized as part of the Color Bar.
