Caroline Casey: podcast appearances and interviews

Caroline Casey is an Irish activist and management consultant born on October 20, 1971. She is legally blind due to ocular albinism. In 2000, at the age of 28, she left her position at Accenture to establish the Aisling Foundation. Her goal was to improve societal perceptions and treatment of people with disabilities. In 2001, Casey embarked on a solo journey across India, traveling approximately 1,000 kilometers on elephant back. During this expedition, she became the first female mahout from the West and raised €250,000 for The National Council for the Blind of Ireland and Sightsavers. Her journey was documented in a National Geographic program titled Elephant Vision and was the subject of a TED Talk. Caroline Casey is also recognized for her role as the founder of the Universal Women's Network.
