Candace Nicole Parker, born on April 19, 1986, is an American former professional basketball player renowned as one of the greatest WNBA players of all time. She was selected as the first overall pick in the 2008 WNBA draft by the Los Angeles Sparks and played 13 seasons with the team, as well as time with the Chicago Sky and Las Vegas Aces. Throughout her career, Parker won a championship with each team and played a significant role in increasing the popularity of women's basketball.
