Bryant Wright, born January 1, 1952, is a Christian pastor and author with a notable history of leadership within the Southern Baptist community. He served as the senior pastor of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia, from the church's founding in 1981 until his retirement in 2019. During his pastoral career, Wright also held the position of elected president of the Southern Baptist Convention from June 2010 to June 2012, succeeding Johnny Hunt and preceding Fred Luter in the role. Following his retirement from senior pastoral duties, Wright continued his involvement in Christian ministry through Right From The Heart Ministries. In 2020, he was appointed President of Send Relief, a Christian humanitarian and charitable organization supported by the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board.
