Brad Treliving: podcast appearances and interviews

Brad Treliving, born on August 18, 1969, is a Canadian ice hockey executive and former professional defenceman. He most recently served as the general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League and previously held the same position with the Calgary Flames. Treliving co-founded the Western Professional Hockey League in 1996 and played a key role in the 2001 merger of the Central Hockey League and WPHL. In 2003, he became assistant general manager of the Phoenix Coyotes under Don Maloney and also served as general manager for the team's American Hockey League affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage. He held both roles until April 2014, when the Calgary Flames hired him as their general manager. Treliving served in that capacity until April 2023, when he and the Flames mutually agreed to part ways at the end of his contract. Subsequently, in May 2023, he was appointed as the general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. His tenure with the Maple Leafs lasted until March 30, 2026, when he was fired after nearly three seasons. Brad Treliving is the son of Jim Treliving, a Canadian businessman and co-owner of the Boston Pizza restaurant chain.
