Brace Belden: podcast appearances and interviews

Brace Robert Belden, born on October 13, 1989, is an American podcaster, union activist, and former volunteer fighter. He served with the People's Protection Units, a Kurdish militia known as the YPG, during the Syrian Civil War from 2016 to 2017. Belden gained recognition through his Twitter account @PissPigGranddad, where he shared his experiences fighting against ISIS alongside Kurdish forces. His involvement in the conflict and subsequent social media presence brought him into the public eye. After returning to the United States, Belden became active in labor organizing. He played a key role in establishing the first craft brewery union in U.S. history at Anchor Brewing Company in 2019. Belden is also known for co-hosting the popular left-wing podcast TrueAnon with Liz Franczak, which explores topics related to political conspiracies and power structures among elite groups.
