Bonnie Greer is an American and British playwright, novelist, critic, and broadcaster who has resided in the United Kingdom since 1986. She has participated as a panellist on television programmes such as Newsnight Review and Question Time. Greer has held positions on the boards of several prominent arts organizations, including the British Museum, the Royal Opera House, and the London Film School. She serves as Vice President of the Shaw Society and has been involved in academic leadership as a former Chancellor of Kingston University in Kingston upon Thames, London. In recognition of her contributions to literature and the arts, she was appointed a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in July 2022. Additionally, she holds the honor of being an Officer of the Order of the British Empire. Greer is known for her work as a playwright and commentator.
