Robert Francis Goldthwait, known as Bobcat Goldthwait, is an American comedian, actor, director, and screenwriter born on May 26, 1962. He is recognized for his black comedy stand-up performances characterized by an energetic stage persona and an unusual raspy, high-pitched voice. Goldthwait gained prominence through his stand-up specials such as An Evening with Bobcat Goldthwait;Share the Warmth and Bob Goldthwait;Is He Like That All the Time. He also became known for acting roles including Zed in the Police Academy franchise and Eliot Loudermilk in the film Scrooged. Since 2012, he has been a regular panelist on the radio quiz show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me.
