Bobbi Brown, born on April 14, 1957, is an American professional make-up artist, author, and entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Beauty Evolution, LLC, a company she established after leaving Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in 2016. Brown gained recognition in the beauty industry for creating ten natural-shade lipsticks that, according to Entrepreneur, revolutionized the industry. She has authored ten books on beauty and wellness, sharing her expertise and insights. In 2025, she was listed by Time magazine as one of the world's 100 most influential people. Beyond her work in cosmetics, Brown became certified as a health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and launched a line of wellness products inspired by beauty. In 2020, she introduced a second beauty line called Jones Road. Brown also curates an editorial website and has been involved in redesigning The George, a boutique hotel located in Montclair, New Jersey, along with her husband, Steven Plofker.
