Billy Crudup: podcast appearances and interviews

William Gaither Crudup, born on July 8, 1968, is an American actor known for his work in film, television, and theater. He received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Male Lead for his performance in Jesus' Son in 1999. Crudup has appeared in several high-profile films, including Almost Famous, Big Fish, Mission: Impossible III, Watchmen, Public Enemies, The Stanford Prison Experiment, Jackie, and Alien: Covenant, filling both leading and supporting roles. His theater work has been recognized through four Tony Award nominations, with a win for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his performance in Tom Stoppard's The Coast of Utopia in 2007. In television, he starred in the streaming series Gypsy in 2017 and The Morning Show from 2019 onwards. His role in The Morning Show earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and two Critics' Choice Television Awards. In 2023, Crudup appeared in the series Hello Tomorrow! His personal life includes his marriage to English actress Naomi Watts in June 2023.
