Bill O'Reilly: podcast appearances and interviews

William James O'Reilly Jr. is an American conservative commentator, journalist, author, and television host. His broadcasting career began in the late 1970s and 1980s, during which he reported for local television stations in the United States and later for CBS News and ABC News. His work earned him two Emmy Awards and two National Headliner Awards for excellence in reporting. O'Reilly anchored the tabloid television program Inside Edition from 1989 to 1995. In 1996, he joined the Fox News Channel and hosted the program The O'Reilly Factor until 2017. The show was the highest-rated cable news program for 16 years, and O'Reilly was regarded by media analyst Howard Kurtz as the biggest star in the 20-year history of Fox News at the time of his departure. During his tenure at Fox News, O'Reilly appeared several times as a guest on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, including a 2012 charity debate. He conducted an interview with President Barack Obama before Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014. O'Reilly is also an accomplished author, co-writing numerous The New York Times bestselling historical novels with Martin Dugard, such as Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, Killing Jesus, and Killing Reagan. These titles were adapted into National Geographic television films, with two earning Emmy nominations. After leaving Fox News amid reports of settled lawsuits involving sexual misconduct, O'Reilly launched the No Spin News podcast, which expanded into a television program and is featured on Newsmax and The First. He is also a frequent guest on NewsNation discussing political issues.
