Ari Lennox: podcast appearances and interviews

Courtney Shanade Salter, known professionally as Ari Lennox, is an American R&B singer-songwriter from Washington, D.C. She signed with J. Cole's Dreamville Records in 2015, becoming the first female artist signed to the label's imprint of Interscope Records. Lennox began gaining recognition with the release of her second extended play and major label debut, Pho, in 2016. In the same year, she appeared as an uncredited guest on J. Cole's song Change. Her debut full-length album, Shea Butter Baby, was released in 2019 and received positive critical and commercial response.

Lennox has contributed to Dreamville compilation albums such as Revenge of the Dreamers II in 2015 and Revenge of the Dreamers III in 2019. The latter album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Her 2021 single Pressure was her first to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She followed this with her second album, Age/Sex/Location, released in 2022. Also in 2022, her guest feature on Summer Walker's song Unloyal reached the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100.
