April Ryan: podcast appearances and interviews

April Danielle Ryan, born on September 5, 1967, is an American reporter and author. She serves as a White House Correspondent for The Grio and is known for hosting the program The Tea with April Ryan. Ryan has had a distinguished career in political journalism, notably serving as a White House correspondent and Washington, D.C., bureau chief for American Urban Radio Networks from January 1997 to 2020. In addition to her work with The Grio, she has been a political contributor for MSNBC since 2023 and appeared on CNN as a political analyst starting in 2017. Ryan's journalistic contributions have been recognized by the National Association of Black Journalists, which named her Journalist of the Year in May 2017. She is affiliated with Ryan Family Financial and is recognized as a prominent figure in Black press and political commentary.
