Anthony Rose: podcast appearances and interviews

Anthony Rose is a British technology entrepreneur whose career has encompassed various sectors including 3D graphics, peer-to-peer music sharing, video streaming, social television, social platforms, and legal technology. He is recognized for managing the launch of BBC iPlayer, a project that earned Wired UK’s description of him as the man who saved the BBC. Rose served as chief technical officer from 2007 to 2010, leading the team from pre-launch to successful operation and overseeing most of the BBC’s online offerings with a team of 250 employees. Since departing the BBC, he has founded five companies, selling Beamly to Coty in 2015 and 6Tribes to the TopGear team in 2016. He is also a co-founder and investor in QJAM, which is scheduled to launch soon, and a co-founder of Hey Blab, which is currently in development. As of 2025, Rose is the co-founder and chief executive officer of SeedLegals, a legal automation platform focused on startup funding. SeedLegals completed its Series A funding round in May 2019, raising four million dollars led by Index Ventures. By 2018, the platform was the largest funder of rounds in the United Kingdom and was forecast to facilitate about 20 percent of all UK funding rounds by the end of 2019.
