Anthony Cumia: podcast appearances and interviews

Anthony Cumia, born on April 26, 1961, is an American shock jock, podcaster, and broadcaster known for his work in radio and online media. He is the host of The Anthony Cumia Show, which is broadcast on WABC's Talkradio 77 and the online video platform Compound Censored. Cumia gained prominence as the co-host of the Opie and Anthony radio show, a collaboration with Gregg Opie Hughes that aired from 1995 until 2014. Following his departure from SiriusXM Radio in 2014, the incident stemmed from tweets in which he claimed to have been assaulted by a Black woman. In 2015, he was arrested for assaulting his then-girlfriend and subsequently pled guilty to third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing. Despite these events, Cumia continued his media career by launching The Anthony Cumia Show as a video podcast. The show ran until September 2017, after which he began The Artie and Anthony Show with comedian and actor Artie Lange. In May 2018, Lange left the show, and Dave Landau joined Cumia, leading to the reversion of the show's name back to The Anthony Cumia Show.
