Anthony Chen: podcast appearances and interviews

Anthony Chen, born on 18 April 1984, is a Singaporean film director, screenwriter, and film producer. He is known for directing the feature films Ilo Ilo, which was released in 2013, and Wet Season, released in 2019. His debut feature film, Ilo Ilo, received significant recognition by winning the Camera d'Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, making Chen the first and only Singaporean to be awarded at Cannes. The film also earned him the Award for Achievement in Directing at the 2013 Asia Pacific Screen Awards, as well as multiple Golden Horse Awards, including Best Narrative Feature, Best New Director, and Best Original Screenplay. In addition to his work in film, Anthony Chen is known for his role as the host of Family Business Radio. His contributions to film and media have established him as a prominent figure in the Singaporean and international film communities. In June 2023, Chen was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, further recognizing his influence and achievements in the industry.
