Sir Angus Stewart Deaton, born on 19 October 1945, is a British-American economist and academic. He is a Senior Scholar and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professor of Economics and International Affairs Emeritus at Princeton University, affiliated with the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and the Economics Department.
