Alice Bell: podcast appearances and interviews

Alice Bell is an Australian screenwriter and director known for her work in television and music videos. She has written for numerous Australian television dramas including The Beautiful Lie, The Slap, Spirited, Rush, and Puberty Blues. Her recent work includes collaborating with Nicole Kidman and Lulu Wang as a writer and executive producer on the Amazon Prime Video series Expats, which was filmed in Hong Kong during the pandemic and features a cast including Nicole Kidman, Sarayu Blue, Ji-young Yoo, Brian Tee, Jack Huston, and Ruby Ruiz. In addition to her television writing, Bell has directed music videos for artists such as Silverchair, Toni Collette and the Finish, Jimmy Barnes, Little Birdy, and Missy Higgins. Her work in music videos has earned recognition, notably winning the ARIA Award for Best Video in 2007, co-directed with Paul Goldman for Silverchair's 'Straight Lines.' In addition to her screen and music video work, Bell is also the author of the book Trust Your Timing.
