Ali Velshi: podcast appearances and interviews

Ali Velshi, born October 29, 1969, is a Canadian business correspondent and media anchor based in New York City. He is known for hosting the show Velshi on MSNBC and co-hosting the program Its Happening with Velshi and Ruhle. Velshi has an extensive broadcasting background, having worked for CNN where he served as CNN's Chief Business Correspondent and anchored the programs Your Money and World Business Today on CNN International. In 2013, he joined Al Jazeera America, hosting Ali Velshi on Target until the network ceased operations in April 2016. Since October 2016, Velshi has been with MSNBC, contributing as a host and substitute anchor, including filling in on The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell on Fridays. Throughout his career, Velshi has been recognized for his expertise in business journalism and his presence across multiple major news networks.
