Alan Arkin: podcast appearances and interviews

Alan Wolf Arkin was an American actor, filmmaker, and musician whose career spanned over seven decades. He received numerous awards for his performances, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Tony Award. He was also nominated for six Emmy Awards. Arkin began his career performing in the sketch comedy group The Second City before expanding into Broadway acting. His notable stage roles included starring as David Kolowitz in the play Enter Laughing, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. He also acted in the comedic play Luv and directed Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys, receiving a Tony Award nomination for the latter. Arkin's film work encompassed a variety of genres, and he earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as a foul-mouthed grandfather in Little Miss Sunshine.
