Al Lewis: podcast appearances and interviews

Al Lewis, born Abraham Meister on April 30, 1923, and deceased on February 3, 2006, was an American actor and activist. He is widely recognized for his role as Grandpa on the television series The Munsters, which aired from 1964 to 1966, and his appearances in its film adaptations. Prior to his role on The Munsters, Lewis co-starred with Fred Gwynne in the television show Car 54, Where Are You? from 1961 to 1963. Beyond his acting career, he was involved in various pursuits including owning a restaurant, running for political office, and working as a radio broadcaster. Although primarily known for his entertainment career, later in life, Lewis also took on roles in activism and community engagement.
