Aimee Nezhukumatathil: podcast appearances and interviews

Aimee Nezhukumatathil is an American poet and essayist born in 1974 in Chicago, Illinois. She is the author of Bite By Bite and serves as a professor of English at the University of Mississippi, where she is also a faculty member in the MFA program. In addition to her teaching role, she has been appointed as the poetry editor of Sierra Magazine. Nezhukumatathil previously held the position of John and Renee Grisham Writer-in-Residence at the university during 2016-17 and has taught at the Kundiman Retreat for Asian American writers. Her work is influenced by her Filipino and Malayali Indian heritage, which informs her perspectives on themes such as love, loss, and land. Nezhukumatathil resides in Oxford, Mississippi, with her husband Dustin Parsons and their two sons.
