Virality Score is a 0-100 momentum metric that measures how quickly a podcast is growing its audience relative to its current size. It detects trending shows before they reach their peak potential.
How it works
Virality Score incorporates review velocity (new reviews per 30 days), chart position movement, recent episode frequency, and social mention signals. A high Virality Score indicates a show that is currently gaining momentum, which is valuable for guest outreach because audiences are actively sharing and growing.
Example
A podcast that has climbed from 5,000 to 50,000 listeners in the past 90 days and is receiving 200 new Apple reviews per month would score high on Virality. An established show with a stable, large audience but flat growth would score lower.
