Listen Score
Listen Score is a 0-100 reach metric originally popularized by ListenNotes that ranks a podcast's audience size relative to all other podcasts in the database. PitchCentric incorporates Listen Score as one input into Pod Score.
How it works
Listen Score estimates are based on download volume proxies, global ranking signals, and platform data. A score of 50 means the podcast is in the top 50% of all podcasts by audience reach. A score of 80 means top 20%. PitchCentric uses Listen Score as a normalized reach signal within Pod Score's calculation.
Example
A popular weekly technology podcast with 100,000 downloads per episode would have a Listen Score in the high 70s or 80s. A new podcast with 200 downloads per episode would score in the 30s.
