Reply Detection
Reply detection is the automatic identification of replies to podcast pitches sent through a connected email inbox. PitchCentric monitors the sender's Gmail or Outlook inbox for replies to tracked pitches and surfaces them inside the platform.
How it works
When a pitch is sent through PitchCentric with Gmail or Outlook connected, the system stores the thread metadata. A background process checks the inbox periodically for replies to those threads. When a reply is detected, it is surfaced in PitchCentric's pitch dashboard with the reply content and a suggested next step.
Example
A host who replies with 'Thanks for reaching out, can you send your one-sheet?' triggers a reply-detected notification in PitchCentric. The user can see the reply, respond directly, and mark the pitch as 'In Progress' to track it through the booking process.
