What does Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare do?

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community healthcare system established in 1948. It is the largest private employer in Tallahassee, employing nearly 6,000 people and serving a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH opened its doors to patients in 1949 and has since grown to include a 772-bed acute care hospital, a surgery and adult ICU center, a psychiatric hospital, and multiple specialty care centers. TMH offers a range of specialized programs, including the Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center, which is the longest continuously accredited cancer program in Florida. Other notable services include a cardiac catheterization lab, a Home Health Care Program, and a Cardio-Oncology Program. TMH is also expanding its regional presence with a new campus in Panama City Beach, which will feature an 80,000-square-foot medical office building and a planned 100-bed hospital.
