The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center (OAEC) is a non-profit organization and intentional community located in West Sonoma County, California. Established in 1994, OAEC spans 80 acres in the Dutch Bill Creek Watershed and focuses on protecting biological and cultural diversity. The organization aims to foster ecological literacy and empower civic leaders through a blend of ecological design and artistic expression. OAEC offers a variety of educational programs, including Permaculture Design Certification courses and teacher training for school gardens.
