Grand Valley State University (GVSU) is a public liberal arts university located in Allendale, Michigan, with additional campuses in Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon, and Traverse City. Established in 1960, GVSU opened its doors in 1963 and was renamed in 1987. The main campus spans 1,280 acres. GVSU offers over 200 areas of study, including 78 undergraduate degrees and 29 graduate degrees.
