ACMA's mission includes promoting trade, upgrading technology, and improving quality within the industry. It organizes international trade fairs, oversees trade delegations, and publishes automotive-related materials. The association also runs various initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and sustainability among its members. Collaborating with the Government of India, ACMA participates in policy formulation and co-hosts the Auto Expo with other industry organizations. The association actively supports the 'Make in India' initiative and the electric vehicle revolution, aiming to position India as a global manufacturing hub for auto components.
